My name is Christopher Lenz and I would describe myself as a recruiting or active sourcing nerd. Not only professionally, but also privately I inquire about the latest tips, trends and tools from the recruiting and sourcing areas.

Hallo, Chris! Can you please introduce yourself?

My name is Christopher Lenz and I would describe myself as a recruiting or active sourcing nerd. Not only professionally, but also privately I inquire about the latest tips, trends and tools from the recruiting and sourcing areas. Outside of work, I spend my private time with my two dogs and enjoy my free time at and in the water. I also play handball and badminton.

What is your experience with HR and Recruitment?

I was able to build up and expand my experience in HR and recruiting at various Dax corporations, but also at small companies, agencies and start-ups. I have already been able to find new employees for various industries, such as automotive, construction, banking, but my roots and knowledge lie primarily in the IT sector, as well as sales and marketing.

Why have you decided to become a freelancer?

As a freelancer, you can support a company unfiltered with your knowledge and get the most out of the opportunities. This is often not possible in a permanent position, because you usually don't think outside the box and follow rigidly established structures.

What is your main goal as a freelancer?

The most important thing for me is to achieve the maximum success for a company. This is helped not only by flexibility, commitment and knowledge, but also an understanding of the needs of the company and the needs of the candidates.

What was the most successful project you have worked on?

A very successful project was filling a frontend developer position for a Berlin start up via Drive Impact. The client was great and the whole project went flawlessly in communication, up to the hiring of a candidate. All in all in not even one month. Simply wonderful. Without Drive Impact, however, the client and I would never have gotten together, so it's a win-win-win situation.

Why did you choose to work with Drive?

I am very happy to map projects via Drive Impact. The entire Drive Impact team is super professional, friendly and always have an open ear. The payments are also super fast and smooth. The projects are exciting and versatile. Simply great

Would you suggest other freelancers to work with Drive Impact?

Apart from the people behind Drive Impact, there are also things like working without fee that make it super attractive for freelancers to work for Drive Impact. I can't understand not working with Drive Impact. It is one of the fairest "alternatives" to typical cold calling.
